We decide how every engineer, service, and AI agent at Stripe gets access to what it needs, and nothing more. We're building the next generation of authorization at Stripe. It reasons about how people, services, and resources relate to each other, and it enforces policy consistently everywhere. We’re actively making the secure path the easiest one for every team at Stripe. The technical challenges we’re solving include building systems with 99.999%+ availability, expanding authorization controls to model agents as first-class identities, and making authorization policy authorship more approachable.
