About the Team
Mixpanel's Customer Engineering team is a cross-functional group of highly technical problem solvers focused on driving customer outcomes across the full commercial lifecycle. Customer Engineers are the technical face of Mixpanel in the field — connecting prospect business problems to Mixpanel's technical capabilities, running sharp evaluations, and ensuring every customer who signs has a clear, fast path to value. The team works in close partnership with Account Executives on new business and expansion, and hands off to Delivery Engineers to own technical activation post-sale.
About the Role
The Customer Engineer owns the pre-sales technical journey — from discovery and technical fit assessment through competitive positioning, demo, and POC. You establish whether Mixpanel is the right technical fit before committing to a proof of concept, and when you do run one, you design it to be immediately
