Senior Product Manager, Toast Delivery Services

Delivery is one of the hardest parts of running a restaurant. Whether an order goes out with the restaurant's own driver or a Toast Delivery Services courier, a lot has to go right: the food has to be ready when the driver arrives, the right driver has to get the right order, and the guest needs to know where it is. When something slips, the restaurant has to make it right fast. Today much of that still depends on a manager watching a screen and making judgment calls in the middle of a rush. Our vision is to make running delivery effortless: one place to dispatch, track and manage every delivery order. Because Toast sits at the center of the restaurant, we can see both sides of every delivery, the kitchen and the road. That lets us build smarter dispatch, catch problems before the guest notices, and use AI to take on the tedious work of exceptions and refunds.
