It helps platforms onboard and verify participants, manage accounts, accept payments, and pay out funds without building payments, compliance, or financial services infrastructure themselves. The Connect Risk team builds the risk management capabilities that help platforms operate safely from day one, including onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, fraud and credit risk management, and tax reporting. As AI-native platforms and marketplaces emerge, this work helps Stripe support increasingly dynamic global ecosystems.
