Location: Berlin (on-site) Start: Asap Employment Type: Full-time Tasks Mechanical Design & CAD: Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for humanoid systems, from actuators and kinematic mechanisms to sensor mounts and protective enclosures and model them in CAD (e.g. Onshape). Actuator Kinematics: Design and optimize the kinematic structure of the robot's joints and limbs, including joint layouts, degrees of freedom, ranges of motion, and transmission mechanisms. Select and integrate actuators (motors, gearboxes, encoders) so that torque, speed, and load requirements are met across the full motion range. Production Readiness: Optimize designs for series production with product requirements, user experience, and target cost in mind. Prepare the handover to manufacturing, including assembly processes, jigs and fixtures, and supplier ramp-up.
